Throughout the event, TAZPIN 2026 will be raising funds and awareness for the Children’s Ward Auxiliary. Every flip of the flipper and every high score will help support children in need of medical care.

Pinball is about fun, community, and passion—and this year it’s also about helping make life a little brighter for kids and families doing it tough. 

Together, we can turn great games into real support for children and families in our community.

About the Children’s Ward LGH Auxiliary

The Children’s Ward Auxiliary is a dedicated and dynamic community group that raises funds to support the children’s ward at the Launceston General Hospital.

For more than 90 years, the Auxiliary has worked tirelessly to improve the care and comfort of young patients and their families, proudly upholding their motto: “For the care and comfort of all.”

All funds raised go directly toward projects and initiatives that enhance patient and family care within the ward. These contributions support the ongoing improvement of hospital facilities and provide additional resources that complement the excellent medical care already provided at LGH.

The Auxiliary raises funds through a wide range of community activities and initiatives, allowing them to respond flexibly to the needs and priorities of the ward as they arise. This approach ensures the best possible outcomes for patients and families.

In addition to fundraising, members generously contribute their time, skills, and creativity to produce handmade items that are gifted to the ward, bringing comfort and joy to children during their hospital stay.
